Everyone should have some special things in their life. The object may not be valuable, but it must be useful and after it, there should have an unforgettable experience.

For me, actually I do not have some real special objects. Here, the real objects mean the things you can touch or you can see. However, there are still some special things important for me. They are not only important, but also everlasting in my life since they will help me whenever. They are my parents’ edification. It looks such a common object for everyone since all of us have experienced it when we were still young children. However, in my mind they are really one of the most memorable parts and they seem like the indicator lights when I get lost in the real world.

Follow my memory; I want to share with you some of my childhood.

In fact, I was quite an introverted boy when I was young. Other people said that I was like a girl since I always cried just for some inessential bagatelles. My father once beat me for this thing. Every time I cried harder and harder due to my feeling of chagrin. Then my father told me that a real man would not cry easily no matter what happened, even choose to bleed, you could not cry. At that time, I felt so confused indeed and I could not understand my father at all. As time went by, I realize my father’s words little by little. A person will come cross different kinds of troubles in his life; cry can’t solve any problem. What we should do is to face them bravely and leave them our charming smiles!

If father is always strict to us, mother will be much kinder. Jennifer Garner said “I know enough to know that when you’re in a pickle…call Mum.” Mother really plays such a role in our life. When I was in primary school, I was a little eager to do well in everything so that I always made myself unhappy due to some failures. My mother found my problem and one day she told me that work hard was really a good thing, but if give yourself too much stress; the result might be even worse. So just try your best and that was enough. She would always be proud of me. From then on, I changed my mind and had a new start. My happiness came back again, that was all because of my mother.

Now, I am far away from my parents. Fortunately, they have taught me how to help myself when I am in troubles. With their familiar words around my ears, I believe I can overcome everything and I won’t let them down. I have some special objects which are magic and always helpful, recalling carefully, maybe you will find it as well!

What are the differences between life and art? Sometimes, we really can not exactly tell the differences between them since quite a lot of scenes we see or listen from art are familiar in our life.

A lot of people say “Life imitating art”, it seems quite meaningful. Life is really another form of art; everyone plays a part in their life. However, sometimes I feel that life is not exactly like art since life is so familiar for us, art may be just our dreams or imaginations. When people come across failures or difficulties, therefore they prefer to live in their pure dreamland. That is the reason why people say “Life imitating art”. To be an observant and conscientious person, you will find something maybe common, but really everlasting in your life.

I still remember the words which are the most memorable for me. Not only I learn some valuable truths, but also I realize life is not art indeed, ever and forever. Once, my teacher let us talk about our dreams. Some my classmates said they wanted to be Bill Gates so that they were able to enjoy their life. Some said they wanted to have some special ability, such as superman or spider man. Then, they could save earth or do something exciting. While all the students were dreaming out their wonderful life, one of my classmates stood up and said he wanted to be himself. Teacher asked him why he said so; he answered that because it was his own life. Suddenly, the classroom became very silent. After a few seconds, all the students gave him the most impassioned applause.

Now, let us think about ourselves. Do we live in other people’s shadows or do us always intentionally follow other’s examples? Yes, we nearly lost ourselves already. Every morning, after washing our faces, we can see a face in the mirror. Do you feel it is become more and more strange? Please wake up and realize what the true life is. All of us are different and we have our own life, we are not in the same play. Maybe some stories sound quite similar, nevertheless they are still different. What we should do is to find the way belongs to ourselves and make it a successful life.

People say “Life imitating art” but now, I prefer to say “Art imitating life”.     

 

向左走？向右走？我选择向你走。

Everyone has watched lots of movies since they were born. Each of the movies gives different impression on us, some may be unforgettable, and some may be transitory as well. Though I am not a movie fan, I also have been to cinemas many times so far. If you ask me which movie I like best, I can give you my answer without thinking. It is “Tatanic”, a movie deeply affected thousands of people.

As my favorite movie, “Tatanic” really reaches the zenith among all the movies. The movie got eleven Oscar awards during the year it showed. I think no one can exceed it so far, at least it is perfect in my heart. I was shocked when I saw the movie first time. Such a luxurious ship sank bit by bit after hitting the iceberg in the sea. Thousand people lost their lives due to the accident. All the people could not help themselves to feel pitying and sad. Of course, this is not the theme of the movie. Though the tragedy, director James Cameron showed us all the real human nature and also the great love between our first actor and our first actress. Some scenes are still memorable for me even now. After the accident happened, most of the people were scared; however, the old couple chose to stay in their room and waited for whatever happened the next moment quietly. There were some persons that I admired the most in the movie. Those guys were never afraid of death; they chose to bring others relaxed instead. Yes, they were the music players. When all the people tried to escape the accident, the music players were playing music on the deck. How great they were! Of course, the most affecting moment was that when Jack and Rose would be apart, Jack looked at Rose got on the accident boat, they were full of tears in their eyes; suddenly Rose jumped out of the boat and came back the ship. What is love? At that moment, I seemed to get to know. “Tatanic” is my favorite movie, ever and forever.

It is very lucky to watch some wonderful movies, such as “Tatanic”; unfortunately you may also watch some boring ones. In my memory, there are two or there movies I have no feelings after I finish watching it, especially the movie “Pirates of the Caribbean 2”. I could not tell it is good or not, at least I dislike it.

The reason I chose to watch “Pirates of the Caribbean 2” is because a lot of my friends told me that it is a very interesting movie. Maybe I have not seen the first part, so when I started to watch the movie, some of the plot I could not understand well. With the help of my friends, I followed the movie very hard. The only thing that attracted me was the fight scenes. For the main characters, I really felt confused since I even still could not tell who was good, who was evil, what was the relationship between them. The captain, at first I thought he was a hero. I also liked him very much when I first saw him come out. However, as the movie went, I started to be suspicious of him whether he was a brave man or a cowardly person. On the other hand, the plot was really very awful; I could not feel any valuable things through the movie. Another reason I dislike the movie is that such movie always leaves people some questions so that people need to watch the next continuation to find the answer, using this way to earn money really makes me abhorrent. I do not think I will go for watching “Pirates of the Caribbean 3” next time.

How to tell if the movie is good or bad is not too difficult. After watching it, ask you yourself what I have learnt or did I enjoy it just now. If your answer is positive, I can tell you that you have watched a wonderful movie, at least you had a good time during that time; if your answer is negative, I felt very regretful since you wasted two hours to watch something useless, but never mind, I am sure you will find an excellent movie sooner or later. Movie is one of the most important parts in our life indeed. It describes our lives, reveals many facts and gives us so many meaningful things. I love movies and I love enjoying my life.

What is military service? My personal opinion is that it is an opportunity that can come with serious challenges. 

In many countries, 18 years old youths do not go directly from high school to college or the workplace but are instead required to spend a year in their country’s military. Actually, I really do not want to obey this policy since I will lose the whole year which may be the most wonderful year in my life. On the other hand, I argue for such a policy indeed.

Military service is a good chance for us to train our ability and find deficiency. Nowadays, more and more youths are too indolent since most of the youths have got used to enjoy comfortable life. How can we expect them to build our future? Through military service, those guys will learn how to become a laborious person so that our society will develop better.

Another important thing we learn from the policy is patriotism. As the days go by, people start to forget their responsibility little by little. No one wants to make a contribution; this is quite a serious situation. How can we do to solve the problem? The government has come out with an idea, yes, it is military service. Using only one year, people are able to realize their duty. When they get to know that each of them belongs to the country, everyone will try their best to contribute our society. In fact, most of the developed countries do not rely on force or economy to make them strong. It is just because people in those countries know what they should do for the countries and keep on working hard. How do they cultivate such spirit? Military service will give you the answer.

If you ask me whether I will spend a year in my country’s military in the past, I am unsure. However, now I am sure I am willing to do that. Let me ask a question: do you want to be a pure person? If so, please take part in military service.  

My favorite sound is the sound of nature. Not only since it brings me the feeling of coziness, but also I am able to find myself while I am listening to the sound of nature, I will realize that I am also a member of nature. The sound of nature is not always euphonious or memorable; nevertheless it is still one of the most wonderful sounds of the world.

Every morning when I open the windows, I can hear the birds are singing. At that time, I feel that they are saying “Good morning” to me, my mood becomes quite pleasant. Then, you need to use your heart to listen since not all the sounds of nature that you are able to listen by your ears. Looking up and you will see the sun is shining and the clouds are flowing, what can you hear? Yes, they are greeting to you. The more careful, the more sounds you will get from your around. Sometimes when a wind blows from your body, what we feel is just cold feelings, actually the wind reminds us to put on more clothes. Sometimes we are gloomy when the weather becomes bad and a rain quickly comes. However, I hear that every drop of the rain tells me do not be unhappy, the beautiful rainbow will dissipate the dark clouds soon. Sometimes people only know to have fun when it is snowing outside. If you listen carefully, you will get the message from the snow: winter will elapse and spring will come, go to plan for your new year. Every moment, nature is making different sounds around us, to help us, to warn us, to teach us. We should be an observant and conscientious person to lend an attentive ear to nature, you will find another world!

In a word, the sound of nature can’t be described by words. What we can do is to use out heart to listen respectfully. Whenever if you have any perplexities, listen to the sound of nature and I am sure you will get your answer. I like the sound of nature, listen……

If you ask me which fictional character has had an effect on me, I can give you my answer without thinking. That is the superman who saved us from the last extremity again and again and just left us his charming smile. Nowadays, a lot of people do not believe any fictional character any more. However, I have to say I really learn the most valuable thing from superman. That is to contribute whatever we can do for others.  

When I was young, I wanted to become superman every moment since he had the special ability to let him fly in the sky and no one could beat him. He looked like the sign for justice, so in my heart superman was the greatest hero for our world. I still remember the days which I hurried came back home and opened TV to watch the cartoon about superman. It is quite a memorable period for me since it records my naive childhood. Hence, superman was my angel at that time.

As the days goes by, superman starts to leave me farther and farther. Maybe when a person grows up, he will not believe anything imaginative. Even though I did not adore superman any more, I   hoped that a superman could always be around of me to help me when I was in trouble. How I wish I can own the ability as the same as superman so that all the problems will be solved easily and my life can be more pleasant. It seems that superman becomes my envious guy.

When I came to Singapore, I changed my mind again. I got to know I need to learn from superman. After I watched the movies about superman, I was deeply affected by him. From the beginning of his life, his duty was to serve human beings, he never complained about people’s mistakes and what he did is to try his best to help people silently. Facing the evil, he was a brave warrior; he never gives up no matter how dangerous he was, and he even abandoned his lover due to his special identity. However, he was not regretful since he knew what he should do, since he was superman! No need to say any more, now superman is the best example to me.

The spirit of superman needs everyone to learn. Actually, all of us can be superman if we learn to think of more for the others. We live in the same planet so we are a big family. Everyone should do something benefit to our world. I think if everyone makes a contribution to serving others, our world will become much more beautiful!

What are the qualities of a good friend should have? I think the most basal things are when you are sad, they will comfort you; when you are happy, they will be happy also; when you fail, they will encourage you; when you succeed, you will congratulate you……In a word, a good friend will never leave you alone.   

That is why people can’t live without a friend, especially a good friend. If let me define what is a good friend, my answer is the people who really care and understand you by heart. Thus, a good friend is the most valuable thing in one’s life. Not only they always support you, encourage you or comfort you, but also you are able to show the genuine self when you face your good friend. At least, I feel very relaxed and pleased when I stay with my friends.

A lot of people think that good friends should always be around with you. So they will know each other more and it seems that they are chummy indeed. I do not agree with those people. Why we call our good friend “intimate friend”? Is it just because they spend most time staying with you or you know a lot of secrets from each other? Of course the answer is no. I want to say that an intimate friend is the person who gives you his heart, who is able to communicate with you by heart, who will always remember you in his heart. On the other hand, it does not mean that a good friend is not always far away from you, actually the time playing or chatting with a good friend is the most enjoyable for me.

I start to realize what is a real good friend is through my father’s experience. When my father was eighteen years old, he went to Nanjing city for study himself. There he made a lot of friends in the university since they had the same dream and interest. Four years time, they had a long friendship which was the truth friendship indeed. Unfortunately, as time went by, they would leave each other to come true their dreams. My father came back Tianjin city also. However, the distance could not disjoin their hearts; time proved that their friendship was eternal. Up to now, when they have a chance to their friend’s city, they must go to visit their old friend; the most interesting thing is that they still call each other’s nickname which they create in the university. From my father’s example, I learn a lot. It helps me to find the real good friend belongs to me in the future. Actually, I have already owned many intimate friends. Although now I study in Singapore, my friends in China all care me a lot and they often send an E-mail or chat with me on the Internet to ask my life here. I think I have got what I want and I also always tell myself that I am not lonely.

I also have my personal opinion for a good friend that is a good friend is just like tea, the more time, the more taste you will get and later when you recall the feeling, you will find that it is really the most delicious!

School records our smile and tear, happiness and sadness, success and failure. The days in school are always busy and interesting. I say it is busy since there are really a lot of things to do in the school, of course the things are mostly about study. On the other hand, school days are interesting and pleasant. Especially when we held some activities, everyone took part in it actively and enjoyed themselves.

In my memory, I still deeply remember the football match when we were in grade two of junior high school. My class was class 9 and our opponents were from class 10. Since the two classes were the best in study in the grade, we all wanted to prove that we were also good at sports. After a long discussion, I became one of the players delegated my class luckily. We also bought the same team clothes so that we could see our teammates clearly. A few days later, the match was coming. Before the match, the girls and our mentor all came to the playground and cheered for us. Some guys even bought some drinks and drank up in the shortest time and then they used the bottles to make noise. Although the match has not started yet, I could feel the pressure from the playground. I repeated told myself not to be tense and deeply breathe. Finally, the match started. As a defender, my duty was to prevent the attackers from the other team scoring. At the beginning of the match, I memorized that we played better than them and suppressed them in their own half ground. However, their fast breaks were also very dangerous and made a lot of troubles for me and my friends. The next time, we all played carefully, even did not give chance to opponents to shoot. With the whistle, the whole match finished, the score was zero to zero.

Thus, we choose to use penalty to decide the winners. My class chose five players who were good at shooting and our goal keeper was also very agile, so at that time I had full confident with my class and I believed we would beat them. In the first three rounds the two teams all scored three balls successfully. The fourth ball, the shooter for my class was the captain of our team, when all the people thought the ball would fly inside the goal, we heard a loud sound from the goal. What we saw was that the ball hit the left doorpost heavily. All of us were surprised with what happened just now, but soon we realized we still had chances, we could not give up. When the last shooter of my class shot the ball inside the net, the score was four to four, all my classmates expected that the last ball of our opponent would miss. Unfortunately, the ball scored and we lose the match. Some girls cried and even the captain. All of us felt very disappointed. At that time, our mentor said she was really very happy when she saw all the class cheered for a good shoot or sighed for missing a good chance, she could feel the whole class agglomerate together and that was what the most important. Maybe we lose the match this time, however, we had found the key to the victory, so she believed we could do better next time. All of us smiled to each other and then we shouted “Our spirit never dies. We will come back!”

 Up to the present, I still remember that day clearly. The day recorded our smile, our tear, our happiness and our sadness. As our mentor said, the most important thing is we have got the key to success and it will help all of my classmates to come true their dreams!

  

 

 

Last Sunday, my friends and i played football with some seniors from RI and LV HUA Junior College. Of course all of us are football fans, we love football and we love worldcup, so i call it "our worldcup"~ However, the adversaries were much more stronger than we thought. Not only personal ability, but also teamwork they were better than us. Despite the bad condition we still tried our best to defend our goal. We also caught our chances to counterattack, unfortunately, we did not score. Later, our Chinese teacher Mr. Wu joined us and we changed some palyers. This time the match became more interesting. Since Mr. Wu are our teacher, so we were all afraid to defend him(i think you know the reason..). Actully, each of us did our own duties carfully. Although we made mistakes sometimes, the teammates never complained or blamed. All of us enjoyed our "worldcup". It seems that we need to do more exercise since our stamina is really very weak- -
